Berry Wealth Group client Kay Lee shared her family recipe for Banana Nut Bread, and we're excited to share it with you!

Ingredients:
1 cup butter (not margarine)
1-1⁄2 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 bananas (very ripe)
2 cups flour
Pinch of salt
1⁄4 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla (more is better)
1⁄2 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp soda
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add slightly beaten eggs, mashed bananas, buttermilk, and vanilla.
Sift together dry ingredients and gradually mix with other ingredients; beat well. Stir in pecans by hand.
Pour into greased and floured loaf pan(s) and bake at 325 degrees until brown and well done.
In two loaf pans, it will take about an hour.
